About
My name is Leo Wolf, I’m a musician, engineer, and artist from North Carolina. I’ve recorded eight albums (five solo, three in collaboration with other artists) and worked as a sound designer and audio engineer for audiovisual installations and immersive art spaces. My music combines synthesis with processed samples, field recordings, and archival sounds to create hypnotic drones and textures. I also explore visual art mediums such as monotype printmaking, painting, and photography.
My work is heavily inspired by memory and dreams. In both audio and visual mediums I search for connections between the physical and metaphysical, the labyrinth of inner and outer realms, seeking an understanding of forms.
