About
My name is Leo Wolf, I’m a musician and artist from North Carolina. As a solo act and in collaboration with other artists, I've performed at venues and music festivals across the state. I’ve recorded five albums, and done sound design for audiovisual installations. My music combines synthesis with processed samples, field recordings, and archival sounds to create hypnotic drones and textures. I also explore visual art mediums such as monotype printmaking.
My work is heavily inspired by themes of memory and dreams. In both audio and visual mediums I investigate connections between the physical and metaphysical, the labyrinth of inner and outer realms, seeking an understanding of forms, and how they define our lives.
